More Mother's Day Cards and Radom Blogging

Here is one more Mothers Day card from the MissyB set. I liked the lil coupons that were in there and thought you really could use for anything. So be assured that I plan to use this set A LOT!! Ü

I just created a lil pocket and layered some paper on there. You are also prolly gonna see alot of this pp from TAC! It's just sitting on my table and I am using it up.
I used some scraps for the coupons themselves.
Random Blogging - Nothing real exciting, so if you don't want to be bored, you can leave now! LOL
Today I had to get up and make a Dessert Pizza for Teacher's Appreciation Week at school. It looked pale, but there were no kiwi's at the store. PO DUNK town!! Oh well.
Then RC and I went to the bank and set up some Pampered Chef stuff. I'm the Business in Focus for this week. Funny thing about PC and me. I was gonna back off for the summer. I haven't made my *Quotas* for the last few months and I was not really motivated to do anything. I'm not a real great salesperson. So I was going to back away and maybe re-evaluate things this fall. Well, the bank called as did a few others who wanted some orders. What does that mean? I don't know. I'll see what happens I guess but I just don't want to make the effort to really push it this summer.
I am going to Stamp Club tonight. It's a Salad supper which I need to finish..eek. We are doing pressed flowers. I'm kind of excited. Well, I'm always excited about Stamp Club.
I also have 2 more days of subbing. Period. I am so tired of it. The kids are so nasty and have no respect for me or anyone else. It's so sad. And again, I don't want to make the effort.
Am I just getting burnt out? Maybe. All I can say is that I want to pursue things that bring me joy. The rest I am tired of doing. LOL... Maybe I'm just being a whiner today.
Anyway, that was my rant for now. I better get my salad finished and dinner for the boys. I'll be back tomorrow...maybe refreshed after the stamp night, and to show you my pressed flowers, the way I mount my MissyB stamps and some creations!!
Have a good night!!

{PINK is my favorite color...}

Have you heard that song? It's old, but I like it! **PINK is my favorite crayon***

OK, so back to PINK... That was the color challenge yesterday. Did I stamp anything PINK, no. But I made a couple PINK things.

This first that I'll show you is this. I have not really liked clipboards because I didn't see the purpose. But I found this at our LSS and I love them! They are so cute and little. And I've had these lil tags laying around for so long, note really knowing how to use them. So I picked the Profile one and wrote about McKinley. Now I need to get her Easter picture on there.

The papers I used were Sassafras Lass that I got at Scrap Happy KT, and the ribbon was from CTMH. So there is my PINK item!

Julie at Paper Pleasing Ideas also made a clipboard and she suggested that you could stand it up on the counter for a recipe holder! How cool is that!! So I am off to get more today to make one for my mom for Mother's Day. (BTW - if you click on Julie's name you can see the one she made!

The reason that Emily choose PINK was for Breat Cancer Awareness. Now I am all about that cause. My two wonderful aunts both are surviors. So it's very close to my heart. I also like the whole PINK-ness of it. And if you know I am a Pampered Chef Consultant, May is HELP WHIP CANCER month. And there is a slew of items available for that!!

Here is the Guest Flyer for May - https://www.pamperedchef.com/images/cc/us/pdf/gs_07may.pdf

If you would like to order you can email me - jstaskif@ttc-cmc.net Or contact your PC consultant. $1 from every PINK item you purchase will got to the Amercian Cancer Society to help in the education against Breast Cancer.

Challenge

This card was definately a challenge for me. And it was supposed to be I guess. This is so not my style of card making or anything. But Liz over at Cornish Heritage Farms(they are local ya'll) had this as the Dec./Jan Challenge. So I thought I would try it. It's cute but I don't know what to do with it now.
All the goodies came from CHF and I embossed the butterfly, and the little symbols and the *belt* with the mirror EB she sent. Then embossed the lil medallion too. The paper is really more shimmery IRL (in real life)
It's late and I am subbing tomorrow. Had a very productive day today. I managed to get all of the boys clothes washed and put away. I just don't know how 2 boys can go through so many clothes in one week!! It's insane!!
I also have a lot of fun things this week. I had a Partylite party a couple weeks ago and today the order came in. So I got to set up my cute lil chick and duck and the basket to go with. It's real springy...I like that. Also this was my month for Stamp Club and my goodies should be in this week too!! I can't wait to play. My MOM is even gonna come over and make some cards with me!! Woo Hoo!! And....yes there is more.....it's time for new Pampered Chef!! I got my new catalogs today!! Yeah- the new spring product is so great!! I can't wait to show everyone! I am waiting on the product I won in the SellAThon in November!! Free Stuff = Happy Katie!!
Enjoy Tuesday...Monday is over!!
