{Bella ATC}

Hey all...Here is one of my works of art from yesterday. I joined an ATC swap on the Bellaholics group and choose Giddyupabella, then realized she is bigger than an ATC! So I stamped here on 2x2" Kraft cardstock, colored her with Choc. Chip, Really Rust and Mellow Moss. She is mounted on some Bazzill paper. The DP is from Flair Designs...I need more for this Bella. The main CS is also Kraft and then used some CTMH brads in the corners.

I am pretty excited with it all now. A few more things to check of my creative list this week.

Fall Cards

I made these Fall cards for a challenge swap on Cornish Heritage Farms message boards. They went postal today to the four ladies.

I really like that idea of a swap...you just send your cards to 4 people and get 4 from different gals.

So they are simple and I love that. I loved the coloring and then I just added a background paper, some DP and matted the images. The CS is Bazzill, although the main cardstock is SU! Kraft.

I closed up my Uppercase Living party today. I am so excited at all the goodies I'll be getting!! Yeah!! I can't wait to show you what I have planned with them all!!

We are heading out of town tomorrow to tackle the school supply shopping. RC got all 4 of his shots today...he was super brave. I was releaved. McKinley and David played in the play area and when I came out and picked her up they said Oh she's got a bare bum. AHHHH!!! She'd lost her diaper in there! LOL... So I rush her to the car! Oh man!! Oh well, something to laugh at huh? Got the physical to get done Monday and we should be set to start school *yeah!!*

Well, I thought I would throw a card in here this week. Our week is crazy...my family is still here and makes for messed up days. It's hard to do much when you want to hang out with them all the time! LOL...

This card was created with the Simple Stitches set from CTMH. I really loke this set now that I'm playing with it more!! I'm thinking about ideas alot too!!

Although I think I've lost my mojo for the time being. I did get some MissyB swaps done today but I was really struggling to even go down stairs. I have another swap that really needs my attention...maybe tomorrow morning. While I drink my coffee and chill. Yeah.

I've also got my stamps out...not that many. but hopefully enough to pay for my next stamp order...I'm loading up on cardstock!! I seriously was too overwhelmed at my wish list to order anything else!! LOL...

Ahhh...this would be relaxing right now!!

I got a whole pile of Bella images...69 to be exact!! I joined an image swap and sent in that many of Cakebella and got 69 different ones! How sa-weet! So I have been having a blast making cards and will prolly over load you this week. But then I won't have much time to stamp either.

Our weekend has been full. Yesterday was RC's birthday party. B/C of the swim team gone he only had 2 guests show up. But Greg took them to the playground for some kick ball and we had some ice cream. Then the parents came back, along with all the grandparents (RC's) and we had lasagna for dinner and cake.

RC helped me decorate it yesterday. He wanted some trucks on there. I can't say it's the prettiest one I've done but RC was so excited. And I am too lazy to put a great deal of work into something that will be eaten anyway! LOL.. So I'm making the road and think that Yellow with choc chunks is as close to brown as I get right? Hello...there is chocolate frosting too right? Must of been the low brain waves yesterday.

Anyway, we had a great time. Everyone wanted to take a turn on Greg's bike and were really thinking he was a strong man(well he is). Then we took the parking brake off and everyone had a much easier time riding the bike!! Oh I think it was the heat yesterday. David then ended up with a friend sleeping over, which made for a late night. So today has just been lazy. I finally got things cleaned up some and I even played some. Then I took all three munchkins over to the pool. McKinley just loved it. So I suppose I'll do that more often!!

Hope that you are having a great weekend. Oh...one of you emailed for me to get a supscription thing on here. I'm working on that...I need to figure it out. Then YES, I'd love for you all to subscribe! But if not, you can try Google Reader. I LOVE that...I added all the blogs I like to read and then I go to one place and read them. It's handy. It tells you who updated and it's all Free.

A Little Love

Afternoon all!

I wanted to post somthing creative as I haven't been able to make anything creative today! These lil cards are 3x3 and from the set A Little Love. I joined a swap on SCS that wanted to use up these lil stamp sets. The image says friends on the bottom, but I masked that part off to only have one say it. I am excited about the way they turned out. Now to get them postal!

It's nice and warm out today. The boys went to the pool after lunch. I finally got them to clean their room too. Then we cleaned up the lilac trees behind our house. They make it hard to see around the alley. So I've been busy just not in my stamp room. I need to get to a card for a friend, send some stuff to Bonny for stamp club tonight and get ready for TBall. :oP Tomorrow I promised the boys that I'd take them to the library in the AM, then I hope to hide out in my craft room after lunch. So I'll be back tomorrow with more!

{What to do with Leftover ATC's}

The other day I posted HERE the ATC's from the Bella Swap I hosted. I decided to make the leftovers into a Card.

The top one, I simply added some more Buckaroo Blue to the back, some ribbon scraps and stamped Happy Birthday. This one is going in the mail tomorrow to sunny California!




This second card was just as easy. I mounted the ATC on some more Cameo Coral paper, that I had stamped some wedding bells on. Mounted on more black and onto the card.

No destination for this one yet.

{Bella ATC Swap}

Here are the ATC's (artist trading cards) from the swap I hosted on SCS. There were 2 groups and 6 gals in each. One gal made 2 for the first group tho.

The top is Group 1 and then my cards I did. The bottom two are from Group 2

Leaving....on a jet plane....

OK, so in a Minivan, but we are so outta here!

We are leaving tomorrow morning to head over to North Dakota to a friend's birthday party. We are taking the entire weekend and I am really looking forward to it. We are also going to stop on the way back and see Kristin and Travis, since we haven't been that way yet.

So don't plan on hearing from me until sometime Monday! Woo Hoo!!

These ATC's are ones I made for a Swap I am hosting on SCS. I also have 2 Bellas ATC's to make....sometime soon!! LOL... Then next week I'll post all of the ones that were sent in.

I think that I forgot to mention that I was going to take all those Bella cards to the Women's Resource Center here in town. Wouldn't they be fun to send out?

A lil funny....at the Races Sunday, the Shiners were racing their lawnmowers and then they did a little parade around the track. Well I told David that one of them was his friends Dad. He said, Oh I know... the guys in the Monkey hats. Oh Greg and I were rolling on the floor. He thought they looked like the hats that lil monkeys wear!! It was funny!

Ok, off to pack up our jet plane! See you next week!!

{Bella Swap}

The first one was the one I did. Some of the gals didn't put their names, and since they are downstairs now, I didn't put names to the ones I do know. I'll do that tomorrow!

{TGIF} - It's VSN too!!

YeaY!!! It's Friday!! I am sorry for not posting much this week. I haven't been busy or anything, I guess just enjoying the Sun! It's been a beautiful week.
I also thought I had better get you guys some eye candy here since I haven't posted anything crafty lately. This is about as craty as I got this week. Just been working on other stuff.

I guess too that I don't like to scan when I could've taken a picture. But I gave mom back her camera - you're welcome! - and I shoudl get mine next week sometime. It's saying the 22nd, but I am hoping for the 21st! LOL...I'm a dreamer huh?

Anyway, I had posted that I was in a Brown and ??? swap on SCS. I'd also made up another card, but I didn't like it. So I played around and came up with this.
The set is Words by Wilson and I LOVE IT!! Anything that is funny and will make me laugh, I love!!
So I went with this one. I made the fold so it opened in the middle and flipped up, stapled the bottom and added and *Ticket* in the poket.

The dark ribbon is from my ribbon share on SCS, i know I was using it when I hadn't been able to get everyone else there's! EEK!! The polka dot is May Arts that I got at the LSS. I used Cameo Coral for the background, chocalate chip and Whisper White. I colored the boat with my watercolor pencils and blender pen and used Choc. Chip for the sentiments. Then doodled on the ticket.


Now I just need to sign them and get them in the mail.

If you are expecting things from me, I am going to the post office today to get them out to you.


I am also getting ready for VSN this weekend. This is the first time that I will actually be able to participate. We might have friends show up tonight, but I will still be checkin in there.

If you don't know, VSN is Virtual Stamp Night on SCS. Every hour they have challenges that you can do to get the creativity going. I am really looking forward to it. I think it you add them online, you can get put in a special gallery if you are one of the better cards. I really don't know the reason, but it's going to be fun.

After I upload them to the gallery there, I'll add them here too. So be on the lookout all weekend long! We are going to a BBQ tomorrow night, but otherwise no plans for our weekend. I'm excited about relaxing and creating.

What a Better way to Spend A Blustery Day

Well, my To Do list is getting shorter - for today anyway! Good thing for the rainy day we were having too. And it was an AWESOME mail day!! I joined the WISH RAK on SCS and I've been getting Wishes Granted. Yeah me!! Today was a 2 envelopes full of Loads of Love. I now know that I need to get this set.

Jenn D. sent me 12 images and I needed 10 for an ATC swap I am doing. I had other plans but I was so excited to use these images. I colored them with my watercolor markers and my new Blender Pens. {My old ones were hailed out!} Then cut them out, mounted them on the Spring DP from the Mini and then on Barely Banana paper. Used the Slot Punch and added a brad. I so love these!! Aren't they cute?

The ATC swap was on Laura Leonards blog in case you are in it too.

I am also doing a Brown and ????swap on SCS. Well, I thought that Cameo Coral would look cute!! So I stocked up on it and Chocolate Chip...then realized I only needed 6 cards! Oh well, I love the colors!!

I used Delight in Life set, stamped with Regal Red (b/c I don't have a Cameo Coral pad...oops!) then stamped the border flower with Choc. Chip. I also stamped it on Moss and cut them all out and mounted on the WW cs. Then mounted on CC cs and tied some cute ribbon on. On the background I stamped the flower and sentiment with Regal Rose again.

I am excited with both of these.



In other news, David came home sick today and has a fever. I'm just hoping that it doesn't spread as we plan to leave town this weekend. Ugh!
Mom, McKinley and I are going to a shower tonight for a friend. I've got to make an early supper for everyone. Although three of the 5 of us as asleep right now. WOW!!
