CHA is the Craft and Hobby Association, and each year about this time, crafters get to travel to warm, sunny California. They are all there right now! And this is where the Papercrafting(Plus others) companies show off their new lines for Spring.

Craft Critique is there too, and reporting on all this new wonderful ness!! Click on their name and keep posted on what is new and coming up in the world of craft.

Now for the deets. Starting with my favorite card...the one using my favorite things.

Well, I started with Cosmobella...my favorite Bella. My favorite paper is Bazzill Bling. Can you see it shimmer? I love that!! I also LOVE DP...and my favorite now is this TAC Mimi paper.

I also love ribbon and brads...those are my 2 favorite embellishments. I should've used Paper Piecing, b/c that is my favorite technique, but I forgot. I love to color Cosmobella!!

This card was for the Inspiration Challenge. Here is a link to the piece we used for inspiration. I just printed it on cardstock and paper pieced it for her skirt and purse. Cute huh? The rest of this CS was SU! and some TAC DP. The ribbon was from a fibers pack my Making Memories. And then found some random brads.

And finally the Challenge I hosted used this Sketch by Shannan. I figured I would show what I really look like in my PJ's....grumpy! LOL....

For this card I started the base with some Bazill, and this DP is from Wild Asparagus maybe...I don't remember and I didn't write it down. The brown CS is Prism. This is a pretty simple lil card.

I need to keep plugging away on Valentines and cards for orders. It's still pretty cold here...we haven't seen above zero all week. Yuck! The kids are still sick, so we will be hanging out, staying warm.

Pajama Party {wanna win??}

Tonight is our Stamping Up! club meeting. I know I posted that 2 weeks ago, but it's been canceled - TWICE. Yep. So tonight, even tho it's almost 30 Below and every other thing is canceling, we are not. Die Hards. I know.

{Fun for You}

Sorry, no new creations today. However, Cornish Heritage Farms (which is right down the road) is giving away a new stamp set from their new The Rummage Bin line. You can see the link HERE.



The only news is that last nights Craft Night with the Red Hatters went well. There was only 3 or 4 of the 18 gals who had ever stamped before, so that was pretty interesting. One gal left with stamped images on her cheeks. It started to get a lil wild at that point, but it was fun. I was sad I forgot my camera to take pics and share how each one was really quite different.

I even ended up with 2 orders for Custom Cards. Yay Me!!

Today I do have a list of craft projects that need to get worked on, in addition to household junk. We moved furniture and rooms and need to buy a shelf for the kids new play room. Anyway, I'll have something more exciting tomorrow but today, go sign up for a Free Stamp set!! Tell Liz I sent you!!

Now onto the creations....



My mom asked me to help her figure out some craft thing to teach to the Red Hatters. I was really excited, but then stumped. I really wanted to do Nugget Boxes, but they were sold out. So I browsed the Blogs and I think it was on Angie's Blog that I found this.

I wanted cute, but yet simple, as these aren't really a stamping group. So I covered the box with some Purple Bazzill, which was stamped with some hearts background.

Then I simply punched out some squares, one from Red Bazzill, one from the Dashing DP from the Winter SU! catty. Then I stamped the heart from I like it a latte and Sweet from the So Very set.

You can see below that those are popped up. Then tied some ribbon to finish it off. Simple yet fun, and they can use them for Vday.


On a sadder note, my lunch was canceled today. I am extremely bummed, I was so looking forward to that ladies time. Ugh. Oh well. Monday I think we will try again.

It's still snowy here, so I think I'll retreat to my craft room, get these projects ready and the cards ready for the class too.

I just keep thinking that iPodabella needs to be made into a Gift Card holder and holding an iTunes Gift Card. I may have said that before - sorry. We have a birthday coming up and that is what I wanted to send the birthday girl, so I made this card for her.

Birthday Blog Candy

In continuing to celebrate my Birthday month and the fact that I have over 11000 hits on the blog, more candy!!

This one is a challenge as I said last week...to create a Birthday card that does not say Happy Birthday. You can have cake and presents, but it can not read Happy Birthday. I am really looking for some funny sayings, so be creative!!

Nurse Bella???

Hi all!!

Here is what I have done with Dental Bella. A friend of mine asked me to make her a Nursebella card and I said you bet! But I didn't have one and I would've gotten a great one from the gals on Bellaholics, but opted to try and transform Dentalbella. I had her from an image swap.

I adhered a scrap paper with RX on it over the tooth and drew stethoscope over the brush. You can see that better in the next picture!!

I love how it turned out!!

The CS is from SU! and the brown background is actually a sticker-stock from CTMH and so is the ribbon. The brads I found in my stash. The sentiment is from Words by Wilson.

So Sweetie, you card is ready!!




Today is my Dad's birthday - Happy Birthday Dad!

We are going out to see them after dinner tonight and take his gift.

Also, tomorrow is the last day to post a card for BLOG CANDY!!! And I posted a picture of it on that thread!!

I am all hyped up b/c today is my first PMS party too!! So....we get to break in some new rubbah!!

This week has been wild and I haven't even got to tell you that I got my camera back. I'm so happy. I can't get it to upload right now, when I have time, so expect some sharing over the weekend.

I've got WINGS!!!! **Blog Candy**

Did ya'll miss me!! I bet you did!



We had a nice evening going out to the Missouri River and watching the elk come it. That was so awesome. We've done it many times before but it is always better each year. The bulls were so loud that night.

What always makes me laugh is the campers...the hunters camp right near the line at the park. As we drove past them that night we could hear the elk bugling almost next to them. Taunting the hunters!!



It was a fun night. The rest of of weekend was filled with boring stuff around here and the yard.



Oh and some stamping Sunday!!


I made this PMSabella...I love her. I love all Bellas huh? For her popcorn you can see that I used puffy paint to give it dimension.

The DP is from Cosmo Cricket and I love it. It is so awesome. I got the kit from Life Preservers and made a bunch of layouts...ok, I will show those later ....and also a bunch of cards. So you may see this paper a lot here soon!

Here is a close up of the puffy paint. I just dobbed it on and heated with my gun. Then told RC not to touch and he touched. Oh!!!
I also thought that I would post this picture. My mom captured these deer coming in to water the other night. They come in and drink right out of the water tank for the horses. She took these off the porch and wanted me to send them to my uncle who is coming to hunt this month.

OK, if you are still reading this post you get the good news. I love October right? I mean it's my birthday and since my mom thinks she gets all of July for her's then I can get all of October right? OK, I'll share with my dad who only gets the one day! LOL.... So I may have to share some birthday goodies with you all this month. So be looking for Blog Candy all month!! Yeah!!

Today's Blog Candy is this card I made. I'll open the comments up until this Friday the 5th and draw a name that afternoon. The winner will get this card. It's not much but it will get better.

The big good news is this!! I have got wings!! I am an Angel for The Angel Company!! #4006!!! Woo Hoo!! Thanking sweet Diane for signing me up - I am a smiling angel!! Yeah!!

Why you ask? Well, I have wanted to start something in the crafty department for a long time. This summer we lost our local craft store and Greg told me to open up my own. Yes, he's awesome. So I looked into it and besides the money it takes, there is the time. I would have to work there whenever it's open. And I tell you I am really loving working here at home taking care of my family.
Another thing, I started creating and selling my own cards. I want to expand on that and take more custom orders and be able to get my supplies a lil cheaper.
That and it was my birthday present to get the Angel Company demo kit!! October was perfect, with all the extra sign-ons goodies. {I'll post more about TAC this weekend.}

So basically it's all for me. If my friends want to order or want me to teach 'em stuff I will. I love to do that. You will just be seeing more images from TAC from now on. Oh and Bellas too! LOL.....

I have some more things I want to try this next year in the stamping world and I'm working on that to perfect it.

As for more blog candy this month...stay tuned it gets better!!

I love that lil bonnet and dress we got McKinley for her first Easter. She's so cute anyway, but this only helped huh?

Well, do ya? So in my newest catty was a note saying that when I renew I can get one FREE...so who wants it? I don't know anyone around here who might, so it's a Blog Tart I guess. I'll draw a name on Tuesday!! Just leave a comment on here.

Oh this week is flying by. Guess what I did yesterday? Scrapbooked!! Two pages!! Awesome! I was excited. I do have my mom's camera but I need to get some batteries....her rechargeable ones stink. :(

I also helped my SIL with a secret project for this weekend...woo hooo haa haaa.. LOL... And my niece called her *crafty aunt* and I said UhOh! I knew what it was and I was happy to help...we made cute lil tags to go on the yummy starbucks coffee she is giving as favors at her wedding this weekend. She called me today but just to come hang out with them....so I know she isn't totally using me! (Just teasin')

But, my brother and his wife showed up today. Lindsey came in earlier and said oh yeah your bother and dad will be here at noon. OK, well let's order chicken! LOL.... They all headed out to the Wagon Train tonight....:(.....and Lindsey is taking the train to see a friend tomorrow. So we are going to do some shopping in the morning. So it was a crazy day. Of course we had to have Grandpa and Aunt Mary over for lunch too.

RC was not happy to go to school...he said Mom, last time it wasn't awesome. Now does that not break your heart. I know it's just scary and overwhelming, but he always comes home talking about all kinds of things. although he did say his friends all pick their nose and no one plays. Yeah right...they are all 5 yo boys...no one stands still!!

So, I was worried that at lunch recess they would see all the vehicles here at home and I was right. He wanted to know whose blue pickup that was and I said Uncle Matt. I told David that he said and that he asked if he could come home to see his uncle. Not til Saturday now.

So we have been busy...it's 10 and the first time I've been on the computer all day. I guess that is OK tho...the world isn't ending!! My to do list is getting long tho.

• Start scrapping for another lady

• Scrubbed the main bath extra well
• Scrubbed my table and chairs extra well
• Completed what laundry there was yesterday and most is put away.
• Feel pretty good about having lots of company this weekend.

Bella Key Chain and Mini Blog Candy

Well, first things first readers. While visiting with a fellow Bella online, I got the idea to use Minivanabella on a keychain. I just happen to have one lying around and viola!! This lil fun thing came out. HEre is the back.
Now it's not really me...my oldest doesn't wear bows like this walking girl here. So I think it's going into my sell pile. You know stuff I am creating for the craft fairs.

That leads me to the Mini Blog Candy. Up for grabs is 3 sheets of Whisper White SU! cardstock, stamped with Giddyupabella. I can get about 6 stamped on there. So you will end up with 18 images. It's not much, thus the MINI part. Anyway, what I want to know....and how you can win....
I need craft fair ideas. Do you sell things? If so, what sells the best? Or what would you think would make a coolest gifts for the upcoming holidays? I have tons of ideas and a few things done, but I would just like to know a few more and see what you other crafters are thinking.

{A Card for the Weekend} &blog candy winners

Since I am going to be busy now until Sunday, I'm posting a card to tide you over for the weekend.

This is using some of Khristi's CTMH stamps...I guess I should have paid attention to the names. Oh well. 2step-stamped the flowers on WW, mounted them on Rose Red. Tag punched the corners. Then stamped the sentiment and mounted on More Mustard, I believe...I was using up scraps! Then mounted it all on Old Olive. Yum! Then added the brads for looks!

Super Simple!! That's what I like! BLOG CANDY WINNERS - Ladies I didn't forget you yesterday I was just wondering what to do. Since Dawn and Allison were the only ones to post, I am going to send you both some goodies! Start stalking next week girls!!
