{Raks}

Well, Friday was a wonderful mail/package day for me. At the PO I received 2 wonderful RAKS from some wonderful stampers. Mr. Brown brought me some new ribbon and paper, and the FedEx gal brought a new Glass Lid for my PC skillet that I won - Free!! YES!!

So these are the 2 RAKS. The first one, Happy Everything is from April Hall. She is one of my SBS3 Sisters! Thanks April!!

The second is form Tanya (orangegymnut on SCS). She is a great friend from the Bella Group. In addition to the awesome card, I got some SavvyShoppabella images. Sweet!!

So I of course, got straight to work with them. I decided to pay it forward and send some RAKS as well. So these are going out to some Bella Sistahz today.

This first one, I wanted to try the kickstand card, that was the Sketch of the week over at the main SCS forum. I think it needed something else, but I left it alone.

RECIPE
Stamps: SavvyShoppabella image from Stamping Bella
Paper: White CS, DP - Crate Paper
Other: Markers

Then this one, I used some of my new paper I got Friday. It's from Basic Grey and I got the matching ribbons too.

I love the Sleek look of this card. And if you look close, you can see where McKinley helped me and wrote across the bottom....well, resourceful me, just used a flower to cover it! LOL... The recipient will understand I am sure!!

RECIPE
Stamps: SavvyShoppabella image from Stamping Bella; sentiment - TAC, Tag Tidbits
Ink: Noir Palette Black
Paper: White CS, DP - Basic Grey, Infuse line; Bazzill bling

ETA - Cassandra posted that she thought it looked like a Sidewalk where Mc had drawn on my Bella. I think so too, now that I look at it. Thanks Cassandra. I should've known that Mc had talent like her mom. J/K

And finally, for an expecting Bella Sistah - I used Teddybella. And more new papers...these are from WRMemory Keepers, the White out line. Super fun. And the matching Ribbons rock!! So feminine!!

Nurse Mimi

Happy Hump-day readers. I ventured down to make some cards today and get them all photographed and ready to upload here.

I love this Bella...she is super fun to color. OK, so they all are, but pink scrubs!! Fun!! She's from an image swap or I would have paper pieced her scrubs I am sure! LOL...I've found a new addiction!!

Anyway, I used all TAC products from the Mimi line. I'm so glad I got these papers - they are sooo my colors huh?
I also got a new marker for coloring Bellas skin. I got Blush Blossom from SU!. {Can you believe Ashley the order hoarder brought orders from 2 places 2 days in a row!! Love ya Ash!!}

This second pic is RC's creation from today. He has his craft table and he loves to use the Sizzix Sidekick. But today he was asking for Bellas and wanted a Cowgirl... I had just that!! LOL.. He was asking for a Cowboy too....aaahheeemm...Em, ya hear me?

I hope you enjoy! I started work on presents for some friends that I can't wait to finish and share!! Plus tomorrow is a super fun Color Challenge for the Bella Forum!!

See you then...

Weekend Sketch Challenge

I was actually working on some challenges today.

This one is from Beate's WSC26 on her blog Fresh and Fun.

I am not so excited about this card and the sketch together, but I like the card. I used the set Heart Sings from TAC. I love these snowmen, but unfortunately this set will be discontinued at the end of the year.

I used some new DP from SU!, Dashing and the cardstock is Rose Red and Old Olive. I really had a hard time finding the papers to match it well enough, which irritates me, being that it's all SU! Hmm....

Little Things

Good evening, or Happy Friday...whichever when you read this.

I found this unposted card to post tonight. I am not a flower stamp gal. I just do not like them, and I like funny cards you know. However when I signed up for TAC I decided to get this set. It's Fanciful Flowers and really it is a good one.

I stamped the flower image a few times to make some seem lighter of further back. I then stamped a darker one of each size, cut them out and mounted them on pop dots. I stamped the stems the same way. The Cardstock is Burgundy and the ribbon is from last holidays' Mini Catalog from SU!

The sentiment is also from TAC, from the set Little Things. It has some fun sentiments!!

Tomorrow is Friday! Yeah! I'll be back with some posting, but I've got orders from both TAC and SU! and not played with either! OMG!!! My friend Khristi also did so I am challenging her (YEAH YOU!!!) to create something with one of the new sets you got!! And I'll do the same.

I'll be playing in the morning, b/c in the afternoon I start to do some demo work in McKinley's room!!

Golf Anyone??

I got Golferfella from my Sistah Susan for my birthday!! I love that!! And today I was finally able to break him out and ink him up!!

I've been hosting (well, trying to) the Bella challenges on SCS and today I did a color challenge of Pumpkin Pie, Choc. Chip, and Old Olive. Yummy huh? So this is my outcome of colors. I also used some Sands of Time paper from TAC.

The FORE is from the TAC golf set and YOU is from the Cmas set. I just colored the letters with my markers. The ribbon CTMH. Simple and good for a guy birthday or just because. I think I'll give him to my golferfella.

I didn't have much time online yesterday, not being home. And tonight we are doing the family birthday dinner. But tomorrow is my day and I plan to play away!!
