Aloha Sunshine.

Yesterday we really warmed up (33degrees F) so I was so ready for some more Sunshine.

I got these new stamps and paper from Martha's Choice in the mail, and inked 'em up right away. It looks like they sold out of the pengiuns...wonder why? LOL... I did find the complete line here...Imaginisce. I tried to get these bigger but it didn't do it, so click on them to see them closer. I saw this Tilt Card Tutorial on Charmaine's blog (CLICK HERE) and when I was looking at this Hula gal I had the light bulb go off. So it looks funny to show you how it tilts, but it's so dang cute!!

Wish my hips could tilt like that!! LOL...I'd hurt something I'm sure!!

I also used the cute lil boy too. Both of these would be fun for summer birthday cards. Or to invite to a party. RECIPE for both:
Stamps: Penguins by Imaginisce
Ink: Noir Palette Black
Paper: CS- SU! Barely Banana and Bashful Blue; DP - Shore Thing by Imaginisce
Other: Flower BRads; ribbon, markers, bling stickers.

Fun for all...

Lorie emailed to let me know I'd been Tagged...she sent me these. Thanks Lorie...

I decided to do a couple different things tho...I've seen these on most Blogs I look at, so I am going to start this...

Answer these questions, and post on your blog, then TAG as many others as you want. Don't have a blog? Leave it in the comments... So anyone can play, just comment that you did so I read it!!

I've answered mine in Blue for our team colors!

Q&A - Blast from the Past

1. High School Name Malta High School

2. High School Mascot Mustangs & M-Ettes(girls)

3. Were you involved in sports, clubs, or both in HS? If so, what? I was on the Drill Team for a couple years...that's it.

4. Did you ever get detention? Not that I remember.

5. Favorite High School Teacher & why? Mr Moran, b.c he was so funny. He retired the year we graduated.

6. How many were in your High School graduating class? I think around 64.

7. If you attended college, what school did you go to? No College....:(

8. Major/Minors in College I would've went for Elem. Ed or Architecture (sp)

9. College Mascot My favorite one is Monte from the University of Montana

10. Favorite College professor & why?

Bonus Questions:

1. What is one of your most memoriable HS memories? Honestly, the night the school burned. It was Christmas Eve - Eve (night of the 23rd) and we watched it from my Grandma's house (now Khristi's!) cuz they lived across the street. Then we attended the rest of the year and next 2 at the old Retirement Center. Our class was the first to graduate from the new high school. That I will always remember....and it's about all that was really too exciting..lame huh?

2. What is one of your most memoriable College memories?

Some more fun - I thought I should post how we keep things sane around here!! (Just kiddin')

{Fun for You}

Sorry, no new creations today. However, Cornish Heritage Farms (which is right down the road) is giving away a new stamp set from their new The Rummage Bin line. You can see the link HERE.

The only news is that last nights Craft Night with the Red Hatters went well. There was only 3 or 4 of the 18 gals who had ever stamped before, so that was pretty interesting. One gal left with stamped images on her cheeks. It started to get a lil wild at that point, but it was fun. I was sad I forgot my camera to take pics and share how each one was really quite different.

I even ended up with 2 orders for Custom Cards. Yay Me!!

Today I do have a list of craft projects that need to get worked on, in addition to household junk. We moved furniture and rooms and need to buy a shelf for the kids new play room. Anyway, I'll have something more exciting tomorrow but today, go sign up for a Free Stamp set!! Tell Liz I sent you!!

Mail Time

Last year I oogled over all the fun Mail Boxes that were being decorated for Valentine's Day, but had no way to get to Target. Well, my SIL went just before Christmas and I asked her to look for some for me. So I finally sat down and worked on one the other day. Good thing I have more, b/c they are sooo cute and sooo fun to make!!

Recipe

Paper: Brown CS, Bazzill; DP, Close to my Heart, More to Adore

Other: CTMH - More to Adore Stickease, Chocolate Collection Ribbon; Distress Inks

Bellas and Elzybells

I have emerged from my craft room, just long enough to post! LOL.... so says Greg.

I love Ipodabella and the new funky look that Em created with these Bellas. I used my new Sugarloaf markers {FYI-these came from Ben Franklin Crafts and are awesome!!} I also used my Glitter Mat Stacks paper and this sentiment stamp - it has 12+ sayings and I thought this was perfect for this image huh?

I also needed to make some Thank You's for the goodies we have received. I made this for a friend who has a lil Blond-haired girl McKinley's age. It could be them!! I used my new markers here too and them matted on a punch I received in WISH RAK. The paper is all SU! and the ribbon is May Arts. I also used Liquid Applique to make the puffy snow.

I hope you are enjoying the last weekend of the year.

Of course, my Girls!! I could watch GG all the time if Greg would let me!!

I thought this was funny since I have the blog. Not really famous, but people know me! LOL..

We love The Christmas Story and usually have it playing all day Christmas Eve. My favorite part is the Fragile part...the way the dad says it!! LOL..

This was the one on Emily's blog that made me laugh the hardest.

This just cracks me up....I love play on words like this!!

I totally grew up with Vanilla Ice being popular. This is too funny!!

Hope you enjoyed!!
There are a few more that crack me up but I prolly shouldn't post 'em.

{Tagged}

Melanie Tagged me ya'll! She wants me to share 7 things about myself.
ETA-Nancy also tagged me!!
  • I had dreams of becoming an architect and our old computer is chalk-full of floor plans including the blueprints for my parent's house.
  • I've always wanted to travel to Texas and am reminded of that now that the NFR is on again!
  • Speaking of the NFR, I was there 8 years ago...pregnant with David, and had a blast watching from the VERY LAST ROW IN THE BUILDING!!! Seriously!! When I got back from there I accidentally threw our camera in the trash...no pics of me and Elvis! :(
  • My DH and I attended the same series of concerts at our State Fair some 5 years before we ever met.
  • I used to have nightmares after I closed myself into our old camp trailer's closet while I was playing house. I think it was the bedroom or something, and I shut the door...I screamed and screamed until my parents either heard me or saw the thing a rockin'! That camper was later totalled by the only twister we know came through our lil land. LOL..
  • I've been on a few run-away wagon rides. The worst was over the railroad tracks and into the ditch. I'm sure that scared us to death at the time...seems exciting now.

OK, so that is some highlights I guess. Hope that doesn't bore ya!

Now to tag a few more.....

My Fun Tree

I am really having a tough time getting into the Holiday spirit. It just seems to be coming too soon and I'm not really ready I guess.

However I did set up the decorations and the tree this weekend.
I've been working on things, but mostly gifts that I can't post.

This was a project I did get done that I can show you.....

Our local radio holds an auction where you can call in a bid on things that stores have traded for ad time. Long story short, I bought this tree there! I know...what a dork, but I knew it could be used and I was right!!

My angel on top is non other than Snowbunny Bella! In her spectacular pink parka and matching boots.

I've had these clear ornaments and simply rolled up some TAC paper and stuck them inside. Tied some funky ribbon to the branches, and decorated the bottom with some queen and co. fun felt.

A super fun decoration for my crafting room!

Enjoy!!

Some Fun

Well, my home is a hub for 7 & 8 yo boys right now. One showed up right before lunch, the other two had called and came over. So no stamping during nap time since I can't confine all of them in the basement with me!

I was reading on Google and Chris posted this experiment.

SHe wants us all to play and link back here ---> http://www.relevantblog.blogspot.com/(Mary DeMuth)

So if you are reading this, you are tagged - show us your answers. If you do, leave me a comment so I can enjoy reading them!!

10 years ago I was a senior in High School (Yep, next summer is my class reunion!) I was probably enjoying a break from Teacher's Conventions, and I am trying to remember if it was that year or my junior year we tried to see George Strait over that break? Hmm.... Anyway, that's where I was.

20 years ago, I was getting ready to turn 8. I am sure that I was tormenting my lil bro somehow, probably in 2nd grade that year. I know that I was collecting Barbies (nowdays it's Bellas...no real difference! LOL) b/c that year I took over 100 pairs of Barbie shoes to school on the 100th day!

30 years ago, I was non existent. My parents had been married a year I think at this time. Who would have thought 2 years later I would've been coming!!

Have a great day. I've decided to make some popcorn, watch my shows on DVR and keep an eye on the boys outside...and sulk for missing my stamp time.

More Cards...

Three posts today!! yikes...

Well, I have a lot of cards to share and thought I would get on it. I have more that are still on my desk too!! I love a day of card making!!

When I first saw PomPomabella...I thought...uh....not really for me. But I really love her!! And after downloading new fonts, esp this school cheer one, I had to make a card!!

As you may know, Cosmobella is my favorite one of them all... Last night my friend asked what color cosmos were and no one knew! LOL...shows we spend more time stamping them then drinking them! LOL...

This cute card is one of my first TAC only's! This lil boy was in the TACgrabBAG that I got. {You can get them too} and I love him. He is so cute and totally reminds me of RC. The paper is TAC also, Sands of Time.

Another all TAC - What's Moo! I had to have that set. I am a total country girl and I loved this one. I'm not so much into cows in real life, but these ones are so girly!! I love that. And I love this Uptown Girl DP from TAC as well.

This is one of my favorite cards for the day. I love the colors, the POP it gives.

The second card of the same set. This ladies are Udderly beautiful if I do not say so myself. LOL... Same recipe as the last card here.

Some fun shopping Bellas here.

The saying saws it all...an awesome day with the girls huh??

And lastly. This stamp is from TAC's October SOTM. Wasn't sure I would like it, but I did.

2nd post today - World Cardmaking Day

If you haven't already seen the Free Digi Kits over at PaperCrafts magazine, go now.
Digi Kits
And if that sounds overwhelming, check out Nicole's step by step on how to on her BLOG.

If I can use them, so can you!!

These are some cards I made using some of the Digi Kits. It was so simple and fun!! I downloaded them all and plan to use them a lot!

World Cardmaking Day & more

If you don't know...today is World Card Making Day.
Here is the link
http://www.worldcardmakingday.com/

I am hoping to spend some time over there today!! Although the laptop isn't working so I can't take it down. Oh well, good exercise running the stairs eh?

Here are my goodies from TAC! Oh how much fun I'm having!! The second picture is of the TAC grab bag. There are some wild stamps, but I've also found some really cute ones too...there is the cutest lil boy laying in the leaves!! So perfect...I'll show you that card later!!

Last night was my first PMS party here. I think we had a great time!! I haven't had time to take pictures....they stayed until almost 11 last night!!

However I do have this card for you...I love this Bella. And this saying. I totally cheated last weekend and printed off sayings from the computer. You can change the size, font, color on the PC and print. And saves you money for Bellas!! LOL.... It reads It's better to have loved and lost than to be with that psycho the rest of your life.

OK, I am heading over to WCMD and I'll be back later to share some creations!!

Virtual Stamping Bella Daze

Well, the first Stamping Bella Daze are over. I think it was great fun. I'll have to see today just how many cards are entered. These are the ones I created.

This Magic Card was for Jenna's Challenge. I love the end result of these cards, but I despise making them. They just don't work for me! Oh well..here it is.

This box was for Ally B's challenge to create a box to store your bellas in, a gift box or a 2,4,6,8 box. I keep all my images in here from both Bellas and WISH RAK on SCS.

This Bubble Bella was my challenge - to use a Loofah or Scrubbie to create a background on the card. I like it, but my card was too plain. Then on to Wino Bella...she was for Jenna's Crystal Glaze challenge. I added glaze to the glasses and bottle to make them POP! Clickabella is new...Love her!! She was for the Sketch Challenge by Kristi, although I looked at it wrong. But I love that card!!

Chefabella here was for the Tent Topper challenge by Ally B. I love this card too. The sentiment reads Yummilicous! And the last card I made was my challenge to use Office Supplies. I used the paper clips on Teachabella and I love it!!

The only one I didn't do was the Fun Flock challenge by Kristi. I do not own any! LOL...

I hope the rest of you Bella's enjoyed the weekend!!
