TGIFriday!!

I am hoping that you'll feel sorry for me for not getting to stamp for the last couple days. You do right? You better!! :O)

It's just been busy, but this afternoon is open to stamp and tomorrow the ladies are coming over. They've whined to my mom so she is gonna keep the kids for a sleep over! Not that she didn't want to anyway.

So I thought I would post these tins. I worked on them last weekend and posted them on my ETSY store. (CLICK HERE TO SEE IT!!) As I told my friend, I'm not trying to get rich, but I enjoy makeing them and really have no purpose. So that is the reason for the store. I have some cards on there too.

These are all using mailboxes from Target. They are just as cute to decorate as I thought they would be.

Pooh

Oh Pooh! Can you believe that Thursday is almost done? This week has flown by. I guess it doesn't help I've been busy - but the weekend is almost here. Yeah!!

So this <------------ has been where I have been part of the time instead of at my craft table. Over the weekend the boys and I started this Pooh puzzle. I like to start with the outer edge, but they were all blank!! So we started at Pooh himself, and finally completed it last night. I had to take a picture to prove it.

I was asked to make something for a Door Prize for a friend. So I came up with this lil beauties today. I used some Prism Cards, Crate Paper, WRMemory Keepers Ribbon and my Bellas. All 6 are different yet alike.

Baby Album - Happy Friday!!

TGIF!!! I love Fridays! How about you? I love knowing that tomorrow I can sleep in...YAY!! This cold is still get me down, so no stamping the last couple days.
Here is parts of an album I made for my cousin's new baby. I am excited about how it turned out. I think it's kind of blah with out pics in it tho. I hope they love it and use it. LOL...you know how non crafters are!!

For this I used mostly CTMH papers and Stickese - I don't remember the name, but they are not in the new catty.

I also used up some other various girl embellies. I made some new baby pages and then one for each month, with height and weights. And then some for the birthday party.



I hope you all have a great weekend. I won't be posting...hopefully getting some projects done.

Mail Time

Last year I oogled over all the fun Mail Boxes that were being decorated for Valentine's Day, but had no way to get to Target. Well, my SIL went just before Christmas and I asked her to look for some for me. So I finally sat down and worked on one the other day. Good thing I have more, b/c they are sooo cute and sooo fun to make!!

More Birthday stuff to share today!!

Tomorrow I am meeting up with some friends for our gab sessions! My mom is calling us Gossip Gals...lol... Anyway, I wanted to make them something for Christmas. Originally I was going to do recipe cards, but I've been seeing these Birthday Calendars all over Blogville. So I tried my hand at them. They took a lil to perfect them...however I am excited about how they turned out.


I started out by covering the Chipboard. First off, I was not thinking right about how the insides would turn out, so the first 2 are longer, and then I figured it out on the third.

They were fun. You can see them each individually below and then the inside pages I made on my computer. I ran out of White CS and didn't have November and December, but fortunately mom had some. Yay!!

Gift Set 4

I finished up my 4th Gift set and have one left to do. These last 2 are harder for me, I don't know why. But I do think they will like these. I used the stamp from Brushstoke Horses and stamped onto Kraft paper. I used my blender pen and re-inker to color the horses. The plaid paper was in my stash, don't know the name. Then I used some Blue and golden Bazzill paper. The brads were some various things I had as well. Pretty simple. The sketch was a variation of Jen's Sketch for you to try.

I also had to get my gift for Stampin Up club ready. In December we usually give a small stamping related gift and do an exchange. This month we are traveling for club and I don't know if I'll go. I hate to travel at night and I hate to travel in winter, so I may skip, although I love the fun time we have.
Anyhoot - I wrapped it up with some SU! wrapping paper and then tried the ribbon weaving I saw on the Martha Stewart craft site. It's harder to do but it looks so nice.

Gift Sets 2 and 3

Hello all...here we go on another week. Can you all believe it's the first week of December?! It's crazy to me. For our area we usually have tons of snow at this time, so this is just weird.
I worked on more cards sets for my aunt. You can see the first ones I made HERE.

The recipient of these is expecting a baby around Christmas day. So I was super excited to break out my new Sweet Little Baby set by TAC. The giraffe is too precious!!

I stamped and colored him and used my shadow technique of just drawing around him like a shadow would look. I love the look this gives. The cardstock is all Bazzill (Except the 2 darker green cards...I ran out and used SU!) The DP is We R Memory Keepers, Peasant Rhapsody. The sentiment is from Vogue Verses, I only stamped part of it. Then used my slit punch and added some ribbon and a brad. I thinks these are adorable cards. I hope the recipient loves them too!! I know my aunt will be happy with the giraffes!!

These ones I don't know about. I CASED a card from a SU! mini catalog and then choose some colors from the color wheel. I thought I needed these tags, but I have such a hard time with them!! But in the end they are OK, I guess.

The cardstock is SU! Pale Plum and Cameo Coral and then some green Bazzill. They are pretty simple really.

So I have four sets done now...I'll post the other one Tuesday. I need to find an idea for the 5th set. It's been fun really.

On another note....do you watch Desperate Housewives or Brothers and Sisters? Why do they leave you like that!! And now there is no show for either next week!! ! WHY!!!!! This is why I hate TV.

Gifts

I've been working on Gift items lately. My aunt ordered 5 sets of cards to give as gifts and these are the first of them. I know the recipients and it's still hard to have ideas. This one, I know she likes Cows, so I went with TAC's What's Moo! set. I love coloring so this was fun. However, matching the colors with the DP I picked was harder! LOL... I think the DP was in my stash and it didn't have a name on the back. I used some light green Bazzill and then Groovy Guava from SU!. The ribbon was from my share, and then the brads I got as a gift. I think they are Making Memories.

So I have one set done and packaged up - 4 more to go! LOL...

Then I've also had to work on a Birthday gift. I know the recipient reads this but it's in the mail and I also know she'll rip it open as soon as she gets it!! She can never wait!! LOL...

This shows the cards packaged already and they are all similar to this one...a little variation on each one to make them special. I've been wanting to try a Monogram set for some time, so I tried it here. The *L* is actually a stamp from my Quickutz. When I got my QK it came with some stamping foam and rockers {think acrylic blocks that rock back and forth} and tells you how to die cut your own stamps. Super cool huh? So I can create my own word stamps!

That's what I've been up to. It's bitter cold so I plan to stay in and work on some more sets. Stay tuned for them and maybe some more fun cards!!

Black Friday

Are you totally stuffed from yesterday or what? Never plan to eat again? Yeah, til lunchtime rolls around huh? LOL...aren't we funny? We gorge ourselves, but we don't ever stop!

Sorry I didn't post a Happy Thanksgiving yesterday...I hope you had one. I am thankful for so much and more than I could ever type. But I also thankful for having the creativity and being able to share it here. I've met some wonderful gals through the online craft world and it's been so awesome this last year to blog and share things. Living in a small town, it's not always every one's cup of tea to see what I made, so being able to share with those who appreciate it is wonderful.

So I am thankful to those of you who come by and read my blog. I hope you continue to do so and I will continue to provide you with eye candy!!

For today's eye candy. I CASE'd these from Jen at Pieces of Me. I thought they would be so fun and easy and I am always looking for that!

I simply used some clear ornaments that I got last year and cut strips of the Dashing DP, rolled them up and pushed them into the top.

They really turned out just cute!!

Today is Black Friday Shopping! You goin'? My mom and I did that one year and people in the city were so rude!! It's not nearly as bad here in Po-Dunk, so I might venture out. I plan to call my friend for coffee and then David needs a new winter coat and then I either need to clean the garage to find the boys' snowboots or buy new ones. I swear I put them away last spring, but I did so in a way that I can't seem to find them. I cleaned out all of the closets and storage room Wednesday, so now it's the garage time. What a way to spend the day huh?

Sweetwater Calendar Class

Hi ya readers!! I had the best craftin' day yesterday. Jenn Stevens came from Kalispell and put on a couple classes. I can share this one, but not the other ....it's a gift!! It was just super to spend the day creating something fun and new! I've added the pics here, but if you want to see them up close, just click on them. They are super cool....we all wanted to totally copy here's to the T, but we did vary too.
I bought a second one to make for a gift too.....it's still in progress on my table downstairs.

Hello

So did you all see the new Member Companies at SCS yet? Of course, Bellas are there as well as many other great companies. It's a whole lotta fun.

So I was crafty over the weekend. When we ventured out of town, I found these awesome stickers from Stamping Station for our Hometeam. So of course, I bought them...no kids I know in HS tho. But while looking for mojo, I decided to craft a frame and add it to the craft fair pile. Someone will surely need this for a senior picture right?

I covered it with Bazzill, added the stickers and then painted the edges with MM paints. I left it fairly simple in case it was for a Boy.

Back to work today and tonight is stamp club. I'll share with you all what we make tomorrow!!

I don't like to start days out like today, but it's OK now.





Last night, McKinley fell asleep way to early and then woke up after the boys were in bed. She ran back and forth between me in the front room and Greg in our bedroom. She was her regular crazy, silly self, but way to late. Finally at midnight I put her whining in bed and went to bed myself in my bed. I do not remember anything else until the phone rang at 6:30 AM! I was in the front room in the chair. Don't remember getting there or when and if my friend wouldn't have called I may very well still be there! LOL..

So startled awake, I found the phone and she wanted me to SUB for her at her pre-school today. I did, I'm done, I've been drinking coffee all morning...lil wound too tight, it's all good.

Now, on to the good stuff....







I joined the flock and altered a clippee. We've had these floating around here since Greg and I got together. It was his passion for Office Supplies that led me to him you know...lol.... No, we've just had them and they are too big for anything I would use, so I altered them. Seriously, if it lays around too long, it's mine!!

Card Sets for Sale

Here are some of the sets I am working on to sell this fall at craft fairs. I bought the plastic boxes from Papertrey Ink - I love them!!

I made six Clickabella cards in three designs, along with white envies. The picture is blurry but this is my new design for The Paper Parlor. The Paper Parlor is what I've named my lil Card making business.

I am pretty excited about how cute these have turned out. Now to make a few more!

I got everyone off to school today...we were running late...RC was all excited to be dropped off. He went to open the door, the handle fell off and he flew off the side of the step. He was crying but OK, when I left him.

I mailed these out today!

Yes, in the mail! I haven't done that for quite awhile...all these cards I create and then don't mail. {Well, I am trying to sell some you know!!}

This top one went to a neice whose birthday is coming up. I love this Bella too and was happy the DP matched her dress so well. The DP and chipboard are from Scenic Route. The cardstock is Bazzill and I colored her with my markers. I am liking them a lil better but want to get some newer ones here soon.

















This one went out to my brother and his wife who are celebrating an anniversary this next week. I got part of the idea from Beate's card she made a while back and kept that in my mind when I was creating. I don't know where this DP came from, but I have a lot of it. The cardstock tho is SU!


I am off to Awana now. Working the book fair at the boys' school tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night is Parent's Night. Sometime between then I'll try and post our cards from Stampin Up Club last night.

A couple of Frames

First of all...thank you all agan for the great ideas for the Craft Shows. I am getting more and more excited now about them. If you haven't signed up for the candy, stop here.

These frames have been super fun to alter. This one I made for my cousin and his new baby girl. I just added the paper and some fun chipboard stickers. They are all up on foam squares so they really pop out.



















For this one, I used Wild Asparagus Brothers kit and used the word FRIEND. I like how simple they are but sooo fun!


I have been super cleaning this place...like a Fall Cleaning. I was going to wait until the boys were back in school, but it's just been bugging me. The entire basement is back in order now and the storage room is also once again manourvable. Then we progressed on to the boys' room and got all the school clothes and books and toys sorted and weeded out. It really feels good to have that done before we head back to school.

I'll be back tomorrow with some school related projects...and I want to make some cards today too!!

{Frame Fun}

I found these cool frames at Ben Franklin Crafts on Friday for $3 so I bouught 5. I was so excited and as I was going through my Life Preserver kits, I found this school one. The black ABC tape is awesome huh? The paper is from Lil Davis and I love that old retro look. For this I simply cut the paper to just hair under the size of the frame and cut out the middle..see the glare!! WOW!! Then added the ribbons. I wanted more, but when I played around with it, it looked like too much. I was so excited, knowing this frame will most definatly sell....then realized that the stand only goes one way. The other way. Ugh. And no more paper like this left...of course, I love it!!
So I'll have to try something else on the other ones. One I plan to make baby girl like for a new baby girl we have in the family!!

I need a saying here...

This kind of makes me think that you just spent the last of your cash on a new purse or wallet and have nothing to put in it. So I need something that says I am poor, b/c I spent it all on buying Bellas! LOL.. No funds due to my large stamping collection! LOL.. I totally stole this idea from Danielle on the Bellaholics Anonymous yahoo group and thanks to Lisa C. on there I got 12 of these stamping bellas images. So I'll be making 12 of them for my stamping group!! How fun huh?

The CS paper is Bazzill and I think the PP is Bo Bunny. I used the swirl from the Hodgepodge Hardware and some SU! ribbon.

Good News, Bad News

What an awful picture here. Tha't bad news.

But this is some of good news. My cousin was here for a day and brought me this awesome Butterfly Looming kit. I cannot crochet or knit but this is super simple. I can do it!! So we will see how many projects I start cranking out. Part of the bad news, it's 90 miles to the nearest place I can buy yarn!! UGH!!!

This is McKinley's good news...my cousin crocheted Mc this adoreable lil poncho and even tho it was 100* I put it on her and she's even cuter!! (ETA - I didn't make her wear it all day, just tried it on!! LOL)

The material my aunts found for me. They know that we are John Deere fans here...both boys have green and yellow blankets. So now I need to make McKinley one. I think I'll make a lil comforter for her Toddler Bed. And pink and brown are my favorite color combo!!!

The main bad news of the days was Crazy Daze just plain sucked. It's 100* again, no one was buying anything other than food. The boys did make about $20 in lemonade sales. But I sold one $5 journal...that's it! And the sad thing is that no one even looked!!! It's not like there were people browsing...there was no one out and no sales anywhere. There was the heat, swim team was out of town, a 4H thing, an auction, and next weekend is the fair. So.... my day stunk...and we came home shortly after lunch.

Clipboards

Well, I am getting all my goodies ready today for Crazy Daze. Lots to prepare for that and the boys Lemonade Stand...plus decorate McKinley's cake so it's done...get stuff for Sunday dinner, etc. But I do have two days left, so no worries.

I got a few more of these lil clipboards when the LSS closed. The first one is more boy themed, I used papers and accs. from Autum Leaves, Rock Star collection.

The second one is more girly.

The red cardstock is Bazzill and the DP is from SassafrassLass. The ribbon is SU! and from my share, and the lil circle embellie is from CTMH.

Off to create more...and do my chores!

{A few more things}

Here is a sampling of what I'll have for sale this Saturday.

The first is a picture frame that also holds a sticky note pad and little things like paper clips maybe.

Next is a lil chipboard that can also be used as a picture frame or recipe holder. This one says ALL SMILES, so most likly a picture holder.

And then my favorite of the lunch boxes. I used the same papers and stuff from my bridal card below.

So these are a few of the items I'll have in addition to my cards. As always, I am nervous as to what people are going to think. I have had a lot of people say that they want to buy my cards, but so far I've only sold them to my SIL. I don't know what to think I guess. So I'll see how things go and hope and pray for some future orders as well.
