More Happy mail today!! I tell you I didn't want to go out today either, but glad I did.

This Bella Babe RAK was from Carol Berthelsen - she was hoping it would make me feel warm...actually I think she needs goosepimples!! LOL... Beautiful coloring Carol...thanks!!

And finally I got a box from my Bella Sister Julie Bock. Look at this yummy stuff. That lil body spray is wonderful smelling!! WoW!! Plus ribbon, bling, alterables and Wreathabella!! WOW!!!

Cards to share

I have a couple cards to share today. I've been working on orders to get them done and delivered, and also made these. I am now on to some swaps that need to get out.

I got some more Bella Images from a swap the other day. (Thus needing a new Bella House.)

I also had this image someone sent me before Christmas and I wanted to use it for Valentine's. I don't own the AMuse sentiment that reads this, so I hand wrote it. I colored this image with my SU! Watercolor pencils and then a blender pen, and I did another with markers and liked it better. Oh well...can't win them all.

Well, Friday was a wonderful mail/package day for me. At the PO I received 2 wonderful RAKS from some wonderful stampers. Mr. Brown brought me some new ribbon and paper, and the FedEx gal brought a new Glass Lid for my PC skillet that I won - Free!! YES!!

So these are the 2 RAKS. The first one, Happy Everything is from April Hall. She is one of my SBS3 Sisters! Thanks April!!

The second is form Tanya (orangegymnut on SCS). She is a great friend from the Bella Group. In addition to the awesome card, I got some SavvyShoppabella images. Sweet!!




So I of course, got straight to work with them. I decided to pay it forward and send some RAKS as well. So these are going out to some Bella Sistahz today.

This first one, I wanted to try the kickstand card, that was the Sketch of the week over at the main SCS forum. I think it needed something else, but I left it alone.

**Manic Monday**

Happy Monday! Did you notice I was absent on the weekend? That is my plan...no posting on the weekend and doing more with the kids.

I did get a little crafting done, made an album for my cousin's new baby and worked on a project to submit. That's it. I also took the kids to the ball games and then yesterday to watch the rough stock rodeo practice. The boys ran wild and slept well, and McKinley didn't. Ugh.

So for today I want to show you a cool card I got in the mail...it's from my SIL Lindsey using goodies I gave her for Christmas. I am so excited that not only she used them, but she enjoys it too. I just wish that we lived closer to them so we could play more.....but I am glad that we can bond over this great craft. Thanks again Lindsey...I love the card and I know mom loved the one you sent her as well.

{Holiday Cards part2}

First off, I got some great goodies last Friday from my November JT RAK friend Dottie K. Isn't that card cute!!

There is some Martha Stewart cards and envies, some funky fibers, a roll of spotted ribbon and a lil punch. Also there was some MM rub ons that I used up before I snapped this picture, and then the lil TO/FROM cards she made! So cute!

I used most of the goodies Friday at my party, so I didn't get a pic before hand.

Here are some of the cards I made. This image is from CTMH (thanks Khristi) and the paper is all SU!. You can see the ribbon and fibers and rub on words that Dottie sent me.

If it's not one thing, it's another

I have had such a hard time the last couple weeks on the computer. We are experiencing technical difficulties that are driving me nuts!! Not to mention, I've been busy and I am really excited to be HOME for a couple days. Granted today, being Halloween and Church night, I still don't feel as rushed as I have.
So then, when I do get on here Blogger won't upload my pics. Hmph.

OK, enough whining...here is something fun, yet late.

I got these great goodies from JT's October Aloha RAK. They came from Monique in California. I loved it!!

I also got some goodies form Judibella yesterday that included a Witchybella card, some candy and a Heart border stamp from StampingBella. I don't have a pic yet tho.


Here is another card that I did get done. I received these BabyFellaBella images awhile back and made this card for my cousin and his wife who had their first baby, a girl on the day before my birthday. I pushed for the 25th, but I totally understand! :o)

Happy Mail Day!!

It was fun to go to the mail today and get some many great goodies.

First my order from Stamping Bella came. I got some charms to use on cards and some Baubles for my Sistah Susan.

I also got some great Birthday RAK cards...how fun!!

This first one is from Michelle (mlehmer) from the Wish Rak on SCS for my birthday. I love it...so cute!!












This second Bella one is from Shelly Socha on the Bellaholics group. She was thanking me for hosting the Bella Babe contest and wished my Happy Birthday too!! I love the card and am so happy for Golferfellas. I would love to make some cards for Greg to send out!! Yeah!! Playing!!

I also got some BabyFellaBellas that I swapped over the weekend. Yeah!!

Now to find time to play! Hmm.... Working today and tomorrow...church Wednesday, no school for 4 days, which means kidlets to entertain, company coming, class reunion meeting, life, laundry and the whole bit. Some day I'll fit in some stamping time.

I do have more to show you tomorrow tho..I fit time in yesterday!!

A RAK

Yep. I got a RAK. It's from Alexis Ridgway and part of JT's RAK group. Jen Young, Pieces of Me, sets up a monthly RAK group. So this is the one I got. I love it...has one of my fav sets and my fav. DP from this last spring.

Well, I hope you are all enjoying the weekend. The temps here are reaching triple digits, so we are staying in with the AC on! I went garage saleing this AM and it was 87* by9 am!

You can only imagine how great the stamp room feels in the basement!!

These are from Crab and Co. This first one I watercoled Mr. Crab and the sand. I love the color combo too! You can see the background some - its one from Elcetic Backgrounds set.

This next one is my favorite of the two. I got this great beach paper pak somewhere and the name escapes me. Anyway, I used that to get my color combo. And added the cute sentiment down below. I think clams Snap don't they?

I've worked on some others...making my SIL some cards for her birthday. I'll post them after the 24th then. But I do have some to share Monday...that's when I'll be back!

I got some WISH RAKS of the new paper from my friend Anna and I had to use them. The image is from Best of Cluck, also a WISH RAK and I mounted it on the new Wild Wasabi (sp?) then cut a strip of the Soft Sky. I also stamped some chicken wire on the Guana color. Added some brads and some brown riboon and TA-DA!

As I mentioned yesterday was RC's birthday...he turned FIVE!! Ugh! Time sure flies. He was so excited to have the birthday. He opened his gifts at breakfast. Then David has Swim Lessons at 11 and we went to meet some friends at the park for lunch and didn't get home until after 4! It was so nice tho to visit and the kids played so well. Then after dinner we went to my mom and dad's to have Root Beet Floats for him. It was a long, but fun day. Now I need to get back to getting things done around home.

Long Cards part 4 - Nother Bella

Here is another Long Note card. I made one other one, but the picture isn't great yet.

I like the fun on this one. Again I used all the same stuff as before. (You can scroll down to see the other three cards. I stamped the sentiment from Papertrey Ink on some paper and punched it out with the Word Window Punch.

Oh that Blue CS is the new stuff that my friend Anna sent me!!! It's the new blue, but guess what, my dog ate the back page of my new preview catalog!! So I can't see the color names. It's called Soft Sky. I love the new colors!!

So that is my Long Note card today. I got my camera to upload. Our PC has USB ports on the front and I was hooking my camera up there, but finally crawled around to the back and plan to leave it hooked up this time! LOL...

Long Cards part 3 - Cosmo Anyone?

Here is the third card made with the Long Notes from the Spring Mini.

These images were also from a WISH RAK. (I'm using them up can you tell?) I love CosmoBella and I think she is next on my list.....among many others.

I used the same things on this card as the other three. I also used some lil brad things from CTMH and the sentiment from curvy verses. You are a wonderful reason to celebrate!

Long Cards part 2 - Hangin out

Here is the 2nd card made with the Long Note Cards from the Spring Mini.

This lil monkey was from a RAK I got from Anna. I used the same So Safron Long Note Card, Polka Dots and Paisleys DP and some ribbon from the share I hosted. The scalloped punch was also from a WISH RAK.

I wish I had a sentiment that said Hang On...or something like that. I need more sentiments.

Today starts the first day of swim lessons. Two hours b/c they are in different levels. I seriously need to get my floors cleaned after the weekend too. Lots to do, so I'll see you later on!!

Long Cards part 1

OK so how many of you out there also thought those Long Note Cards in the Spring Mini were awesome? Well, I did when I saw them. Then I got them home and was less than happy about them. Of course I was making them the long way.

Today I thought about how fun they would be the tall way. If you look on the cover of the Spring Mini you will see that is how they are presented. Well, DUH!! I love them this way. I have six left and made three of them today. So come back for more!

For this card, I used the So Saffron Long Note card, the Polka Dots and Paisleys DP and some ribbon from CTMH. I sponged the edges in Always Artichoke and used a WISH RAK image from Bundle of Joy. I think this will make an adoreable baby card!!

Some more baby cards.

Yep, more baby cards. I think I posted that I didn't know many babies coming, then I decided to make a lil list and I do know ALOT!!

Also, we found out my cousin and his wife had a baby a month ago. Didn't know they were expecting. Hm. I have two more cousin's expecting and 2 friends. Wow! Anyone else out there I need to know about? LOL..

So I used some WISH RAK images. I love this lil set - Bundle of Joy. Another that I love, but never bought. I did find out my friend Mary has it tho! Woo Hoo!!

I made this top card to send to my cousin. Then this bottom one is for another cousin. I told her I would make her some announcements to send out. So I was playing around and came up with this. I really like it. Simple yet cute.

And I realize now I didn't crop my pics. Oh!


We are really enjoying the summer time this week. Getting into a routine somewhat. The boys have been going to VBS in the mornings and McKinley has been taking her nap then. What joy! So I have been workin on the chores then. Then walking back to get them and the mail. It's been so nice out and I enjoy the walk, as does Mc. The boys always complain about something! LOL... Boys. Ugh.

It's only half way through TBall and I am once again regretting it all. As much as I really don't mind the whole organization process, I depsise the whole dealing with parents process.

Tonight we are going to walk over to Greg's dad's and then to my Grandpa's. They are working on the house behind my Grandpa's for my aunt to move into. You might say it was his guest house, but it you saw you would'nt. LOL...

Off to manage the maniacs!!

Good evening...

Using up more WISH RAK images, these ones from the Cowboy Kid set. I am so bummed that I never got this set myself. I know one of my friends from Stamp Club has it so I could borrow it from her if I really wanted to. But I still WISHed for it.

I mounted this lil guy on Apricot Appeal, then grabbed a scrap of DP from the Crate cowboy collection. Added ribbon with Hodgepodge Hardware to look western like! LOL...

We went out to my aunts tonight for dinner. My cousin and his wife and three boys were there. Her brother (who lives her and I am good friends with his wife) were there too...they have two boys and a baby girl. Plus our three. There were 9 kids there under 7! LOL..talk about a mad house! Then another cousin came with her two (under 7 as well!) But the night was beautiful, we enjoyed the time outside with everyone. Some skeet shooting, then a campfire for S'Mores. I have an adorable pictures of the three babies in their diapers. I'll post it tomorrow!

Greg's dad will be here tomorrow. He is moving here...he isn't doing so well and he needs to be up here with family instead of alone in Reno. So Greg's brother went to get him and since the house he's moving into isn't quite ready, he is going to stay with us. We have an extra room downstairs for him. I know things will be OK, it's just going to be a shock on him to go from being alone to having three kids. Hopefully it won't be more than a week.

I'll be back tomorrow with some pictures...I'm just to lazy to upload them tonight!! LOL...

We're back from the wedding and shingding. We are so party poopers!!

The ceremony was wonderful - like I had a doubt. The supper was great and then after everyone headed inside we came home. It's really too smoky in the bar for the kids anyway. And my cousin's son Ty wanted to come chill here anyway!

This is the card I made for the Bride and Groom. Their last name is Kluck, so I thought I would be funny. I really hope no one gets offended! LOL...

I made this one and am sending it to my brother and his wife. She likes Chickens. Or at least that is what he told me once...Sorry Lindsey! LOL...


Going to wait for Brandi to come get Ty and then off to bed. McKinley is the only one who is sleeping so no early night for us!

As you know, the mail increase is next week. So start sending out RAKS's this week before it costs more!! Plus, it's nice to do.



I got this cute Crab Card from Dawn, who was asking for cards to send to the troop. I sent her a nice box full. Her hubby is then going to make sure the troops get them and can mail them back to their loved ones at home. Isn't that cool?




Also, I have been MIA for the last couple days. I've been working on ribbon, Mother's Day gifts, Teacher's Appreciation cards, and subbing most of the week.

Tonight I am pooped...my house looks like a tornado hit. I've been laying in the chair watching Grey's and now have things ready for tomorrow. *whew*

So prepare, I have a lot to blog about in the next couple days!!
